1) Insight

Trinity Asset Management was growing it’s assets under management in leaps and bounds and was struggling to manage it’s client base through the Microsoft Access system that had been built at its start-up phase. Especially the recalculation of data and reports resulting from information received by various daily and real-time feeds was becoming difficult to manage.

2) Process

WWW went about creating a centralized database of all clients and configuration variables. Then the system accepted information from various service providers. Finally a reporting layer was built on top which recalculates the data received and re-factors it into all reports in near-time with powerful accuracy.

3) Growth

Since the start of 2007, when the system went fully live, the system has automatically produced all necessary client reports, including client portfolio valuations, invoicing and statements. This has enabled Trinity to focus on its core business and the business has grown from strength to strength.

Technology

The solution was built using PHP 5 and MySQL on a custom developed framework. The Intellectual Property is held in an entity called “Finassets” and is available to other portfolio manager businesses.
