3G on a Bus

This post is being written from a bus travelling between JHB international airport and Sun City. We (Rob and I) are on our way to the Annual RE/MAX of Southern Africa convention and thought it would be a great chance to test out the new Vodacom 3G/HSDPA card. It seems to be doing a great job – travelling at 100 kmph and we haven’t been dropped once in about 45 mins.
We both battled to install the card initially – it wasn’t picking it up in the “Vodafone Mobile Connect” package. I fixed it by adding a second “3G Preffered” connection. It picked the network up on the new connection immediately.
